That makes sense but I was thrown off by this which seems to say differently:

Hi,
Hmmm, I wouldn't call that teeth either!
But I've seen inaccurate info in w/shop manuals before..... Cosworths never left the factory with 9 bar of boost, is one example.... There's no way you can time an injection pump on an Isuzu diesel with the writeup in the manual... Both genuine literature.
