Simons doing me a 202 for my 998 turbo, tracked down a few 295 heads, but it will be some time before i can afford to shell out for one.

while the heads with morspeed, what areas would you think need attention? should i ask him to pay attention to anywhere inparticular?

I would trust him to do his job, he is very good at it.

Also, I do not at all think that the ports are that different between the 295 and 202. I'd say that they look very similar. I haven't got a 202 anymore, but next time I'd measure. The chambers are obvioulsy the biggest difference, but Simon will know hoe to modify these I guess.

righteo, ive already spoken to him, and he said hes gonna give the chambers some stick.

if, as vegard says, the ports are of a similar (if not potentially better) ilk, then hopefully it should release a fair bit of power.
ill leave it to the expert!

The ports are similar, but the throat area is definately better on the 202. I have no idea what difference in power this'll do if anything else was similar...Why don't someone give it a try :)

stick to the space bats pete, my 202's gonna kick ass!

seriously though, to put it in perspective, what sort of power difference could you expect from fitting a 295 over a 202 in turbo land?

on this build im not overly fussed about every last ounce or power, being my first turbo'd engine just getting it to run will be satisfying enough, but long term, on future builds id like to know which is the best casting to use.
