So we didn't get many miles done this year either. It appears to have been building excess crank case pressure which was causing oil to get into the clutch. A combination of not enough breathing, to wide ring gaps, and possibly not quite aggressive enough during the run-in. Hey-ho.

Nice! Didn't think Dodd did oil squirter work? I was told on multiple occasions he didn't. |

When you dry build, check the clearance between the underside of the piston skirt and the the nozzle at BDC on all four pistons.

Usually people notch the pistons to clear. |

Nah, I was just going to run it and let them self clearance, what the worst that could happen?

If care is taken this is not necessary.
