You haven't got a loom with the ballast built into it have you ? Or is that just on later cars ?

not that im aware Phil, but i did build the megajolt loom myself and the power feed to the EDIS and the coil pack come straight off the starter solenoid 1972 998 TURBO SLEEPER |

if the power feed is straight off the solenoid ,would that not mean they are always live , even with the ign off ?

All sorted the engines running and revs nicely. I am using a HIF44 N/A carb, which requires pressuring, so i t-pieced off the plenum to regulator pipe and bobs your uncle. Thanks robert for that tip.

It passed the MOT thanks to a very understanding tester. Few tweeks and it looks like I'm going to make the London to Brighton this year.

Ideally you want them all connected to separate sources on the inlet. |

I had a similar thing Chris. My DV needed it's own take-off straight off the manifold. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

You can tap the flat spot on the metro turbo manifold too. It does mean manifold off though. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |
