Did you not consider running a plenum of sorts? They aren't needed for injection unlike of you were running a HIF44, but the little experience I have of turbo cars has shown that you can normally get a bit more power with one. |

In short yes did look at making a plenum but just chose the easiest route to get going, maybe something to look at in future.

Ive got a wasp one on mine mate and it's fine so far no problems, we used them on the e-types and Listers at work too! |

Matt, you need to make sure Brise are using the correct gear on the starter, I had this problem on an engine I built, chewed two ringears and two gears on the motor and as a result of poor engagement fucked the starter up, you need the largest dia gear they make to get best engagement and there are three different tooth counts available

Carl thanks for the advise I will be sure to look into it before asking to be sent another one. I didn't think the width of the starter gear looked as wide as the gear on the standard starter either! Matt W

Matt Incase you decide to get a refund I've got a wasp starter on mine had it about 4 or 5 years and it's perfect never had a problem with it. |
