In my opinion most of that list is not necessary for a hot reliable turbo motor. It might be a nice to have, but that's a lot of money you could spend elsewhere and still achieve similar results..........

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

what would you drop of the list ?
the situation ive got is
both block i have one is a 1293 needed a rebore but has all the modification
the other block is a 1275 standard bore but has the 5/16 holes for the gearbox
i have a spare set of oil jets
already got drops, box, rockers, partly a head now will need the chambers opening up and a crownwheel and pinion for the lsd but not checked if its a 3.4 or not
and have a gt20

Worked rods and worked crank on a turbo motor are not really necessary since the engine wont rev enough for them to be beneficial. The thrust mod isnt necessary if you use the now more popular RTS clutch and only the bare minimum over bore needed to freshen up the engine, so1275 to 1293 1293 to 1310.

Sorted a while back
Probably the best thing I've done in a while no clutch slip so far
walked away and came back to it and it was the bolts
I think my next one I'm going to use some threaded bar and some flange nuts of some sort
