No vid with me in it I,m afraid. Still waiting to see pics from the friend who has them, although I have seen an official shot of me with the pack about to descend on me , with the racing A35 about 3 cars back, but this was a pirated pic and not for publication .

Still full of it and planning to change all suspension bushes for polyurethane and add a Panhard rod for next time.

I love Cadwell Park, but as I am sure you know, you need to treat the place with respect. Go off the black stuff and you've a good chance of ending up in the barriers, and thats speaking from experience!

I did wonder about the white square on the bonnet.

Cadwell Park is second only to Oulton Park in my opinion.

Donington is too fast and open for me (and I fell off there, which does colour the opinion)

I hated Brands, not for Paddock Hill bend which I enjoyed, but I never got the long right hand return to the start and finish straight right (short circuit) A bike is on its side for so long it gets a bit scary.

What's the engine / gearbox spec in the racer then dave !!

That car is not A series powered and its real forte is the handling and road holding. As you can see the track has been increased by 9" front and rear but it also has a 5 link rear, using an Escort RWD axle.

The engine is a 1.7 Puma, 78000 mile scrapyard engine with locked cam timing,throttle bodies and a decent exhaust. Head has never been lifted and it gets 7000 rpm all the time ! Power is about 150/160bhp .Ford type 9 close ratio S/C box and LSD. Sierra Cosworth wheels and tyres. Top speed is around 110mph.

Tom is such a competent and competitive driver that he is able to wring the last bit out of that car , as you can see.

He loves those kerbs and the car handles them very well. I love sitting beside him and enjoying the humiliation of the wannabe drivers in their modern cars.

His dad, Steve, can do the same and came in from a session saying that he had run out of cars to overtake.

Next season they will be racing a very special Sierra(spec is top secret) and there are plans for a 100bhp hike for the A35

My friend took only a few photos and none of me in action on the track -maybe I was moving too fast or something ?

There is a very nice action shot of me leading out of Charlies 2, taken by a profesional photographer and entitled "leading the way" but I don,t think I should risk posting it on here as it is probably copyrighted.

Ill see if I can post a link to it though (I,m not very computer savvy so be patient a little longer)
