that's only an hours work Cheeky bugger Good progress this morning, I have 50 psi of oil pressure on cranking according to my highly accurate Chinese gauges Fuel pump and coil all wired up. connected HT leads, I have a spark but a weak one. The plugs are new so I have ordered new rotor arm and dizzy cap to see if that helps. I also cleaned the connections on the terminals for the coil. The engine earth strap was wire wheeled before fitting so that should be ok. I have made my exhaust up, It consists on a single box cat back rc40 pipe with Maniflow decat pipe (I had these on before and being tight didn't want to buy full exhaust), Then a rc40 lcb to cat link pipe pushed inside the Maniflow turbo down pipe and welded together by Stevie wonder. Que laughing at my pigeon poo errr I mean welding. This came in the post today: mine: http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.php?p=vt&tid=570945 |

Now it took a bit of sorting but its done, well needs bay tidying up etc but the engine is now in tune. Had to block the two pipes on the carb that are usually linked.

The upside down skip drove best with a T3, mg cam, well worked head and 12psi. Was a nice fast drive with no torque steer.

It drives really nice, plenty of pull and she starts with some turboness from 2200rpm.

That's a nice spec that I would be happy with in the future. I am using n/a pistons so I think 10 psi is my limit?
