Got the oil changed, got Pauls injection timing map inputted (many thanks for that!) and it started up :) tweaked the VE map a bit and got the inner/outer AFR's within half a point of each other. never managed to get anywhere near this on semi-seq. Time precluded getting on the road so have only been able to play around with a limited area of the map so far.

Paul, in hindsight the MS3X would have been the way to go. When I bought the MS3 I didn't think I needed the MS3X as I thought the onboard injector channels would suffice and didn't appreciate the importance of having a cam sensor. It's only after using the MS3 to run the sparks for a while and playing around with the software that's things have become clear. On the face of it modding the MS3 for the extra lambda input, cam sensor and injector drivers seemed straightforward, but thinking now of how many evenings I've spent with a soldering iron, I may aswell have bought the 3X :)

Rod, not sure why I went with opto over hall, since using the rotor arm seemed the easiest route forward using the opto made more sense to me as I wouldn't have to make any changes to the spinning bits. Getting something as compact as yours is what I'm aiming for on the next version!
