Yeah I did haha, I'm so bad with typos atm! Yeah thanks for sorting us out Simon but I've found out why whoever wanted the trigger wheel with the mj stuff, I've just had to make an order and it wasn't cheap!

My trigger wheel parts arrived Friday along with my block coming back after having a hone andmy crank regrind. But then not much happened due to three major mess ups. Firstly we were let down with the engine crane, secondly Carl didn't order a new oil pump LIKE HE WAS TOLD and thirly minispares gave me the wrong set of piston rings on Saturday. So there was no way it was going back in this weekend. But I took my dash to pieces and fitted the new gauges in the center binnacle and they are looking good, like they should be there which is super important to me! We started building the block up as far as we could and that was pretty much it. I won't be doing anything apart from spending money for the next two weeks so it will be down to Carl to keep updating. I'll upload a few photos when I eventually get internet back at home! They don't die, they just get faster! |

You could pop the front off that AFR gauge and paint the needle white If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Red for danger! Tbh I might pop the chrome off and steal one from and old gauge if it will fit because it's different and it will end up bugging me after a while :(

I had words with Carl about the rev counter I'm putting in NOT staying in front of the steering wheel after it's been run in. I will have to think hard about where to put my boost gauge where it's visible but not obvious because I'd like to keep that in there. I've never really been worried about it exploding or something like that, just the look inside haha, I like my clean decluttered dash too much

I love the engine build by candle light.. Can wait to see it at Combe... I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Haha Carl being my slave and putting it back in this weekend I hope ready to order any last bits and get the DP made and start him up the weekend after, his reward will be driving it around (running it in) for a week or so before it hits the RR on the 26th! I am hopeful we make it to Combe now but he really is nothing special compared to some, especially after I dropped a headgasket on the wing at IMM haha. Poor guy has some war wounds atm :(, paint is the next thing to be sorted after the engine.
