The main caps also have been line honed...

Now i've started with the gearbox. It needs to be grind out a little to fit the arp studs..

the gearbox is verry thin on that point!
First i fitted the rings but it was far to high...the resuld was a big hole in the gearbox housing...
So it's needs to be welded up a little

The rings are off now and the studs on the outher caps are shortend a little.

Quarry Bonk

Lovely build, I like all the little touches that neaten things up.

Next step is putting the engine back in...

Job done! Now i can start connecting it. I've started with the driveshafts, gear shifter, starter etc etc the normal stuff...

The next job for me was the intercooler. I bought a cossie 2wd to put on top. But didn't realize That it had to be modified to fit my engine bay.
So i chose ànother one. A Bmw mini cooler to fit in the zeemax frontbumper. And the pipes running treu the wheel arches....

I'll pull à heat resistent material over it later on. So the radiator don't heat it up to much....
Maybe its better to fit a front mount radiator later on to....

The otherside was a bit harder to fit!
The powerbrake bracket has to be grind out allot to fit the pipework.
This where i am at this point....

I want to pull this over the intercooler pipe on th rad Side. To keep the tempratur as low as possible

But this one is to small so it wont fit. Ill need to change this one for one bigger..

Thanks!!!

The other side of the intercooler is finished. It was a real struggle with the wiper motor to make is fit.

The washer bottle, coil pack and fresh air intake. Its a tight fit!

Next i've put everything in place to make sure it fits!

Only have to find a place for an oil catch tank
