Thanks rod

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!

I'm tempted in getting one for the trailer too given it can run off its own battery

back on the subject, I've come across this; looks like it would do a similar job without the need for a sim card.

I take it a determined thief would still be able to block a GPS signal so not perfect but would give me a little more comfort. Anyone considered one or similar recently?

Looks like it relies on somebody being close enough to it to make a bluetooth connection, and they have to be signed up for it to work. Not much good for car tracking, I would have thought.

if you have a look on landrover forums the trackers are of no use. i believe thieves now have jammers that plug into the cigarette lighter sockets that jam the signal if you dont have one they bring their own on battery jumper pack ! main reason i sold my defender second most stolen vehicle in uk and even though i had a pedal lock i still wasnt happy

Cheers guys. Missed the hit about the bluetooth connection.

I know that gps jammers are freely available. I'm just thinking about the local low life that may take an opportunistic chance

Trouble with the pedal lock is the lock they use. Those types of locks were great, right up to the point they were figured out by the unscrupulous types. A twin opposing tumbler barrel is much better - or even just a regular high-security barrel.
