Can I ask what you did with the handbrake cable to shorten it as you've moved it back, need to move mine back too i just don't know what to do with the cable!

I had a shorter stainless steel hand brake cable made up at a marine shop as they make them to mot specs. It was only a couple of pound more than an original mini cable as well. Hope this helps
