I've been practising loads. Surprised how difficult it is to get right. Keep up the practise on the scrap I agree! Patience is key for sure.

co2 5% argon mix will help

def practice on scrap before committing to the car, if your using small bottles of gas then invest in rent free as its cheaper

I can pop over later with my auto helmet and help you with the settings on the welder if you want

I want to learn how to weld :( although I'm too much of a perfectionist, I get annoyed at work if I get a slight snob of solder :(.
