That looks like the Avonbar intercooler kit for the Metro. It sat the intercooler under the normally blanked off bonnet vent on the drivers side. |

Could well be, it's a bespoke item (i.e. not OEM)

Like welding, once you have the right kit and a bit of practice, it's easy to get the hang of.

The downpipe knuckly bit looks quite low. Is there anyway you could cut and shut that to get more ground clearance? Or is the subframe in the way. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

It's a bit of both. It's excayly the same height as it is on a mini, you just never see it from that angle. Not much you can do really.

Well it failed it MOT today. You won't believe it, the horn wasn't working. Got it home and after a little investigation it became apparent why..............
