Very nice. Pricing? Or is that a WIP?

Jim, the amount of money i spend on alumium in a year would make your hair curl, lol

what id not so evident is that what you see is half of an arm, theya re in two pieces, top and bottom, bottom shown, but it's taki ng an age to fettle and edit the posts for the machining as the cad cam is too powerfull for my M/C and its creating massive files compared to wjhat i am used to,

Very nice, i can imagine sorting the fixtures for something like that will be complex enough let alone the cadcam work.

Not srong there kid, two big lumps that will come in for another project, and a smaller piece i can use for another little job, so all in all quite economical use of material i think,

the two halves are located to one and other by the recess aronud the outer edge, male shown, then glued and bolted together, if that all adds up to a pain in the arse to do i have another plan,

So you can remove more material and make them lighter??

Good question Carl.and the answer was an attenpt to hog out the middle whilst leaving the cross section big meaning something as light or lighter but stiffer than other types available, but it hasn't quite worked out so far as there is more material to remove from them to bring the weight down to what i call accepable , and the second reason was i wanted a no conmpromise solution from materials readily available, i wanted people to appreciaste the effort that went into producing them,

and as i said above it it turns pout to be non economical i have another plan along the same lines,
