Matt did you ever get this on the rolling road? Ive often wondered if I could get mine injected to give better drivablility/economy at low boost. However what puts me off is I imagine one would severely limit the power they could achieve?
I have a figure in my head of 170bhp.

Also, have you used it much? If so is it holding up to the port robbing whatsit that we are all so scared of? Did it take much calculating beforehand?

Well Nic I'm not sure about the port robbing, and I know much has been made and said about it on here, But I've had the car running now for a few months and all seems well even at my high boost setting, I'm not clever enough to do any calculations before hand lol! ecu, kdfi (megasprit software) that my mate runs.
My goal Ben was to be the first injected mini 5 port that i know of to break 200 bhp and I've done that now, It's not been easy by any means, and I still don't think you can beat an SU as the SU still drives better then what I have ATM anyway, that said it's not that bad. Economy is about the same as the SU as well, so that's good, I was worried it was going to be worse!

This is good to know matt ive had most stuff here for an spi settup for some time now but been scared to go ahead with it because of port robbing issues i will be efi by christmas then i think

I wondered why that was a bad word mate. N dear. Not build thread Eden, wasn't sure if what I me and Adam put together in the old shed would work of not so didn't post about it, only posted now as we are back to close to the carb in all out power so thought worth a post.
