i scrapped all the cack off this side before a zinc undercoat floor is solid ,brackets will be coming off the underside later on, structural work first give em hell |

found a hole in passenger side rear quarter so cut out all the rot and welded in a repair section give em hell |

a bit of tidying with the grinder ,then a skim of filler she,l be good and solid here again give em hell |

also had to strip out and fit new scuttle as a previous owner made a cock of repairing it give em hell |

turned her over onto an old car tyre i had lying around to paint the underside with tractor enamel , the paint is good and tough so in my opinion ideal for this use give em hell |

alex,, scuttle is not that bad ,just take your time ,i didnt have a spot weld bit so just linished the welds away,im using a clarke 150 t welder and just plug welded it on no probs give em hell |

started attacking my rear end , hang on scratch that ,not again jees ,i meant started work on the rear of the mini underside ,it was covered in cack old underseal and what looked like hard wax , thatl be old waxoyl then , i was pleased as it was rot free ,not a hint of rot or rust ??after scraping back to bare metal i used zinc primer to protect the metal give em hell |

you can see from the pic above im de seaming the rear bumper lip , its just a frikin rust trap anyway ,less weight without it too give em hell |

now using a 2003 r1 engine approx 165 bhp ,rather than the old 2000 yr i was going to use after the guy i was buying it off tried to scam me ,long story best forgotten , anyway 2003 engine has only done 10,000 miles all good and its injected rather than carbs give em hell |

Looks like you are putting some hours in there I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
