Don't you need steel plates welded in for the rollcage to sit on too. The exact terms I can't remember but I did read it in the blue book. Matt W

Nic - why not make new rear bins and seat base from alu like Dave has. You would keep the majority of the weight saving and probably comply with the blue book. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

You won't comply using alloy, it needs to be the same material as manufactured. But once painted who would know?

A really good event. Well run, friendly and challenging. I was about 15th overall and 4th in class. I was 2nd in class until Eric in the Clan somehow found a second!???!!!
