Vernier calipers won't be ideal for measuring the ring slots. Have you got some feeler gauges, you could use these.

Going to get a dish machined in the pistons. Whats the minimum amount there needs to be in the top of the piston?

After having lost motivation, im now back on the straight and narrow and want to have it on the road for summer. So should be making a few orders over the next few days and be cracking on with it. 998 t2 ongoing project. |

Just wanted some advice, would a standard 998 oil pump suffice or would it be best to use a 1275 pump?

Like the colour of your engine, I'm doing a slightly darker grey than that, almost like an anthracite grey. Keep up the good work, mate. Life is always a matter of opinion and quite frankly, no ones opinion really matters. |

There not seats they are torture devices... I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
