sure johnnys ran around 160bhp with a lesser spec? only want to do it as not many others have done a blow through set up yet. want something different :)
ill probs go turbo next year though if the engine is still up for it! lol

pick my block up from med tomoz which has been bored and honed. will also be getting my cam followers.
just leaves crank bearings and center main strap to get.

been med today and ended up getting my full bottom end bearing set, getting the block 11 stud with arp bolts, engine gasket set and center main strap.
pick it all up next week.
so all being well ill have the engine built within a few weeks!
major excited is not the word!

been on the phone to Slark today and the car is officially booked in for the middle of may to have charger kit made and fitted.
now its time to pull my finger out! lol

sold my 10x6 split rims today....

now have these instead
10x7s as they will fill my arches better....

finally got round to sorting some home made heel board end panels out as I was having problem with spinning nuts when putting my rear beam on
NO more spinning nuts now
means I can get the car rolling this week!

Those wheels are mint, I really want some extraction splits

i would have advertised my old 10x6 splits i bought which were new on here but they were sold within minutes lol so didnt even get time to advertise

bit more done today on the car
test fit of plate. sits lovely.


and a pic of it welded on with L brackets welded from the plate to the sill for extra support using the beam.... also did the same on the other side.

14psi and a 276 Kent cam....

center main strap, bored out +20 and drilled for 11 stud.


and the rest of the bits that are needed.
i now have everything for the bottom end to go together!

Whoevers it is it only has three dash bolts.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

john what do you mean it only has 3 dash bolts?

i was about to make the same point john, ive had minispares straps with 3 dash and 6 dash bolts

james the 3 dash is the tensile rating of the bolts, 3 dash is considered weaker or not as strong as the standard bolts, if you have a search there is a good detailed thread about it
