Thanks Star Mag were very proud of it our selves,
The box is really quite trick to be honest it does use some of the original gears all be it heavily modified, we manufacture our own selector forks and move the gears around to allow 1st to be where 3rd would be on a standard H pattern box and R to be where 4th would have been. We also modify R to be much more like a Dog gear with a separate dog engagement as apposed to the original Crash gear arrangement. and we lighten the hell out of the casing and remaining gear cluster.

Great looking car! Suspension looks pretty special how is it in use? Is the two speed box like normal with some gears taken out? :)

Cheers Paul sounds good I thought there would be more too it than taking some gears out!

Herefordshire

Very nice!

Ive been taking part in autotests over the past year with a local motor club.
Watching your videos make me think I need to take some weight out of the rear of the car!!

Out of interest, are you using a hydraulic, or cable handbrake?

We use Cable Nic as it allows you to keep the brakes locked with the foot pedal on throws when you need your left hand to change between gears, it also affords much better feel than hydraulic which is very on/off

That's very nice !

Are there some brace bars after all ?
I read somewhere they are required as the subframe can pull trough the rear mounts.

i think there were bracebars going from the shock mount bolts to the subframe front but not 100%...
realy has to be seen, some bit of engineering:)

Looks very similar to my autotester (apart from the rear suspension) although I have inclined the fron shocks a lot more.

How much do you charge for the gearbox mods? (PM me if you prefer).
