I had a look at my s/c spares Robert. unfortunately they are of no use chipped teeth and worn out synchro cones!

I got teased with this "hybrid" naming but it is not the car that is hybrid, it is (only) the engine ...

No the 998 strap is smaller (the holes closer together) as the cap/bearings/journals are smaller.
Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Make your own strap. It's a bit of steel with two holes drilled in it and one face machined flat. Can't be that hard for a man of your talents... On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Sometimes theres a big hole over the centre main on these blocks, they always seem to be the ones I get anyway... the blocks can crack here so if the hole is there just clean it up to get rid of stress risers,

Has anyone ever seen the block crack (and not because it threw a rod), never mind an old A Block with or without air above the center main? I don't think its an issue, just scaremongery.
