I did 1 run and it did hold power to 6800, but had already peaked at 6. On the strip I'll shift at 7, but on the roads i like to shift at 4, mainly due to the noise.

The whole idea of going from race n/a to turbo was to get loads more power low down and not have to rev it so hard to make power.

worth pointing out that the dynocom losses system appears a bit' add a hunk of bhp every where' . safer to say if your running about 100 to 110 mph at peak power on 32's add around 15 to 17 bhp at that point ,then taper loses down to around 5 bhp at 3k rpm .

id try a different turbine housing and forget the comp housing .

also , over 100 lbs ft at under 2.7k is more trq at that rpm than my gt17 makes ,so its either reading high on the rr or it actually is v good on low down power ? just some thoughts *wink*

thanks Robert, so what your saying is add 15 HP to 149 to give 165. I think you might be right, the torque does look high at 2.7k, but I could really do with boost v revs to compare, but should be around 4psi though. I think I forced the turbo to came in lower, as I increased the load on the rollers and gave more time for the turbo be build. I should mension this was my first attempt at operating the rolling road on my own, but think I did everything OK.

hi matt ,yes ,it does depend on the rd speed though ,heres my car at nms's superflow dyno ,on 12 psi ,

you can see it has similar torque at the wheels to yours, and the losses are a bit more because im usng a high diff and running to about 7k rpm .125 mph i think it was .
have a look and you can see your doing ok on low down power really .
something else that can delay the boost rise is using a bleed valve .

Thanks Robert, the more I look at the turbo, the more I thinks it's actually not that bad. My bleed valve only opens when it reaches 6psi, ie 2 psi before spring pressure.

You got me thinking, so ive compared all my recent engine power graphs. All these are at the wheels except the 1380.

Have all those dyno runs been done at the same RR?

Certainly looks like a good little motor. Good head, will it be for sale when you go 7 port?

All at same rollers expect 1380 Race (done on engine dyno). Yes head may be for sale or I may use it on my Clubman if I deciced to go turbo on both.
