Don't drop a nut in that engine bay!

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!

There is no such thing as 'insignificant weight saving', it all adds up.

The lump just guards the inertia starter mechanism. If you run a pre engaged its redundant

yes agreed, looks pretty mental... did you construct it yourself? do you have your own pipe bender?

here's a pic

first time engine, sub and body are joined, just to make sure the exhaust and turbo fit the bulkhead

some progress on the build, welded in the rear parcel shelf and a flat sheet in the back

the idea is to put a lot of holes in these as well, but first i weld them in to avoid the sheetmetal to loose form and strenght

also made a dashboard box

Where is your fuel tank going? Do you not want any protection just incase something goes wrong?

Do you not need a firewall between you and the tank?

where are you from pieter?

you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

finish date set for project 1... march 2018

some progress on the build....

front suspension is setup (termporarly) and engine is in the subframe. now i can start the plumbing of the water, oil, intercooler and fuel hoses.

meanwhile i've setup the rear subframe, and still have some sorting out to do...

i've fitted a minispares rear beam axle, kad rear disc conversion, protech coilover offset shocks and specialist components radius arms. I've got 10 X7 wheels with hoosier tires mounted.

These are now rubbing the radius arms and coilovers,

so i probably have to fit spacers in order to freely move the wheel and start setting up the rear suspension. anyone has had a similar setup/ trouble with these components?
