Finaly finished the dash last night after being busy doing alot of other stuff so thought id post some pix up. There are a couple of bits on it that are not perfect but i am more than happy with how it is, now i have got to install all the guages and switches....

Then fit it back to the car.

Not bad, not bad at all! For quite a complex shape you've done very well

yeah, believe it or not it was easier to skin in cf, than it was to cover the dash in fabric, although the cf is a lot more time consuming its a much nicer finish (not just cos cf is cool to look at)

its the resin and clear coat that tales the time to perfect, but you can make it easier to just laquer it.

but james dont do things the easy way :p

Thats a very nice job for a first effort.

Just made my intercooler pipes out of carbon fibre. making them from metal would have been a major ball ache and expensive. This way I got to route the pipes how I liked.

The funny thing is I found it layed easier and the wet out compared to fibreglass cloth was far superior.

If anyone else has done this or is thinking about trying post up where you got your items from.
I used East coast composites, again very helpfull and competative on price by the metre or the roll
