so , ..open out the head ,chambers from turbophil on here , use those pistons ,bores look ok ,if its got the mg metro cam ,thats fine for the job ,away you go ,oh and get a bit of a refund .jobs a good un . Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM |

ive got a set of turbo pistons going spare mate 13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat! |

standard turbo pistons with total seal rings are a good option if your standard bores are in good condition. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

they are std and seem gd to me. Came out of my perfect engine wen i got power hungry 13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat! |

I would demand a far wad of cash back, a good na engine is a good start for a turbo engine, either get some standard turbo pistons with new rings and honed, or go 1293 and get some decent cast pistons. Audi s4 b5 - 470bhp & 486ft lbs

It is a decent starting point, but you shouldn't have paid more than £250 max.

I'd say £70-£80 as it will cost £100-ish for a set of rings from total-seal If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |
