Up to you, but I'd run it either above or below the solenoid just incase it gets crushed.

mines like that so i run the cable through a solenoid on the block , so its only live on cranking . oh i also trimmed the fins back to clear and then siliconed a plastic sheild on the starter solenoid too lol. Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM |

Looks great, but you can't come on here and finish your car in 6 weeks. It's just not the turbo minis way. It should have taken you at least 3 years to do all that! On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Good looking mini.. Just a question, is that an oil cooler you've plumbed into the heater take off/return? Do they flow well enough to not limit the water flow through the rad thus reducing cooling ability? |

is it overly noisy without a silencer? Speeding is like masturbating, everyone does it, but not all of us film it and put it on the internet

the oil cooler is fine, if oil can pass through then water is sure to as its much much thinner than oil.

An oil cooler is designed to cool oil, not water, as a liquid they are both quite different, no? its like using a cheese grater as a file, yeah it would prob remove some material but not do a great job.. i suppose theres just that much more surface area on a heater matrix.. i do agree theyre delicate, mine cant even live in my heater without springin a leak!! |

well its still to cool liquid :S i would say if you tried to cool it with a intercooler it would be inefficient. lol |

a heater matrix is designed to loose heat to a pressurised air stream ducted from a fan, so it has a dence fin spacing. mount this open, with no ducting in the front of a car and most air will just flow around it.
