fiat taxi 504/a couldnt find the original colour code when i first did the rebuild and it was the closest match Edited by wng691s clubby on 15th Jun, 2012. Done now needs redoing lol |

Good effort! cheers carl it will look alot better all one colour which i can now do with the engine removed. after meny arguments with my paint surpplier saying they kept giving me different colour paint it turns out thats theres two colours with the same code so they gave me 5ltr for free and 2ltr primer. iv got a rubber seal kit for the arches and splitter so they will have a black rim. ok so ripped the engine out of the mini today as i wanted it done before i went back to work so heres what i found

That's not good. Is the bearing surface on the gear OK? Has the nut on the primary gear stayed done up? On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Is there any play in the roller bearing? It doesn't look like the box it's self is damaged. Happy to help you sort it out. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

roller was new at time of build. Not quite sure what im going to at the moment as i cnt really afford to sort it out properly with new transfers ect. When i drained the oil it was nice and clean no filings but im sure theres still half the bearing missing so going to split the box and block which i was hoping tn get away with Done now needs redoing lol |

I can dig you an input gear out, but you'll need to find another 4th gear and a transfer case and bearing. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:
