Thanks, few more jobs need doing, sort out/re-do the messy wiring, finish off bonnet pins, spray bonnet etc etc.

Was hoping to get the engine build this weekend, so since im working 12hr shifts, by the time I finish at 6 everywhere is closed, so I Sent my mate all the way to minspares to get me my duplex gears and chain...




This is what he came back with... But he forgot to get the 2 countersunk screws :( so the build will have to wait.

Got all my floor welded and dressed off, gave it 2 coats of red oxide primer and 2 coats of green hammerite, then a new carpet set down

nearly there benny, it will be a flying machine

Target for completion is avon park 2011, needs engine building up, MOT'ing and spraying, oh and a new windscreen fitting, I don't get a huge amount of spare time so it should be pretty tight.

loads of time, you've got nearly 3 weeks...

three weeks but only 2 nights a week from 6pm on and 1 day on a weekend.... :/ should be done if it all goes to plan.

when does anything ever go to plan!

tell me about it, if its getting a little too tight i could put in a few hol. days get it finished but i would rather not do that unless nescesary, forgot to mention it needs setting up ideally too.

not got much done over the last few days, been very busy looking at cars, wednesday night we came home with this.......

not much of an update but nevertheless, got my phase 2 cam timed in and duplex fitted (big thanks to benross for the helpping hand)




got my ported elbow and mani fitted, just on the lookout for a turbo bolt for the turbo elbow.



and my rts clutch (thanks brett) bolted to my minispares ultralight flywheel, with the ap rally/race plate, should be plenty




only thing that is holding me back is the gearbox bolts from turbodave16v, im hoping to get them soon, once i get the box on i can build the rest of the engine and get it dropped in
