Oh right then it should be fine! Im using a standard inlet to model mine. How does the twin inlet differ? If it sits lower then I can make allowances for clearance.

Hey Matty. Can you post a picture or two of the 'better flowing' more expensive manifold as i dont know which one to choose. Either way i dont want to chop the bulkhead. Thanks

I'm not being dumb by asking this question am I but it will still allow for the turbo inlet manifold to be used?

so the pic on this page is the higher flowing one which will need bulkhead mods.

does it flow better than a ported, standerd metro manifold. i know it may be impossible to answer that question, but i will ask any way!!lol

thanks

looking at these manifold tube it certainly flow a lot more than the std mety manifold, question is:
is it needed? a std mety manifold can be ported to high flow the only restriction that is difficult to port is 1 and 4 cylinders 90 ° bend after exhaust port

I couldn't say whether they flow more or less than a standard metty one, as I haven't put them on a flow bench. Going by the bore size and shape I'd be very surprised if they flowed less!

As for the manifold, can someone confirm whether the turbo manifolds sit higher or lower than the standard one?

Deposites all depend on when people want them? I'll need 4 - 6 weeks from the time I receive the last deposite to the time of completion. Would people that want one, be able to start a list, saying which type they want, and when they would like it by.

e.g.

1. Matty, higher flowing type, 8 weeks

I may be interested in a higherflowing type for a gt20 early next year. :)
