clock tower with a sniper rifle

Tom,

have test fitted my long drop bracket and have a small problem, when tilting the column to the max, the steering rack "goes up on the corner" at the flat bit where the splined shaft enters the bulk head…

is it safe to cut slits there and reveld at a more steep angle?
Just the small area around the 90" gear casing

btw, very nice bracket really happy with it*wink*

cheers

Marcus. I enlarged the hole in the bulk-head.

cheers veg,
me to, did it oval – maybe i should have made an even bigger hole from the start
to weaken the problem area somewhat…

here you go*wink* driving position seems pretty good, vill invest in a proper swedish made "snap off" later to allow easy acces/exit (have gone through 2 shite ones, learned the lesson twice "buy the best, -cry once")

Gents, I have one extra long one available if anyone is interested? I also have one standard length one. The standard one drops the column as much as a cheapo chrome job and the extra long one drops it by another 1.75"
