Ok guys, a bit more detail for you. Yes it has the conventional reverse in situ. The rod change shown in the video is stock, no changes at all, with a standard lever assembly, not quickshift. Reverse is in the standard place.

To be honest is there really any advantage over an h-pattern dog box apart from bragging rights. The only disadvantage I see with an h pattern is the ability to shove it in 1st instead of 3rd. On 7th Oct, 2010 5haneJ said:

If you watch the vid closly.. the gearselector rod right at the top goes forward 4 times then back 4 times.
