That is a fucking big radiator, but not surprised given your summers! Surprised you don't have an AC condensor on the list! On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:

Great looking work Brocky, in those temps keeping N/A cars cool enough is a chore so you are doing well.

Your car looks menacing in that pic. Great job with all the work and upgrades that you've done. Life is always a matter of opinion and quite frankly, no ones opinion really matters. |

Agreed, the fact it still retains it's original rear plate is a nice touch. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

Also just thinking....do I need a Tig welder for stainless? I know it's best for alloy, but think it's about time I got a welder and started making some bits to. No, you can buy various grades of stainless wire for MIG machines, BUT, to get good stainless welds with MIG, you need to use pure argon as the shield gas, not the normal Argon/CO2 mix (called argoshield over here) that is usually used for mild steel, and certainly not the basic CO2 that some use for mild steel. I did most of my exhaust with stainless MIG (it's quicker than TIG) but I have a cylinder of pure argon in my garage as well as the usual argoshield as I also have a TIG welder (which uses pure argon for virtually everything). Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ??? |
