Hi Paul - I really like the black/grey theme but didn't want it too look obviously different like doing black grille surround etc - hence a smattering of silver bits!

cheers

If Carling made Mini engines
it would probably be like this one!

I must say John, looking at it certainly is making me look forward to re-restoring my Sprint, then getting really stuck into my daily which, as you know, has the rosepetals waiting for it in my dining room.

Paul

I seriously doubt it!

VERY Nice!!

I particularly like the 4.5 or 5" x 10" rims with the Yoko A032s and no arch extentions. I don't know why more people dont do it like that. Fat 10s look bulbus.

I really like that. Need to speak to you about my gauge too.

Only thing I'd change are some 'show plates'. The visible weave carbon ones, with stick on silver numbers/letters would really finish it off...

'Marcos Matt'... I like that... Might change my login later!

Hi mate,

Your build are top, it just need some bits to be perfect in my opinion...

Mk1 boot handle
Mk1 grill
SD Rollcage
Bucket seats and to finish some BMC or Downton badge *wink*

Please tell us about the engine, give us some tips

Congrats for your top car, very good realy.

Very nice and clean work. I like colors.

Could you tell where I can find window locks ? I'd like to remove the up-and-down opening system.

Very nice john. But I must agree, a MK1 grille would top it off !

The theme of the car is all mk3 based - no mk1 grilels I'm afraid! it may at some point get an early mk3 reg plate to suit though!

the exh is a big bore lcb - just up on dia's from our "normal" lcb but worth it for a real 135hp/8000rpm motor. There may be more in the engine with a manifold with longer primaries for cyl's 1+4, if I muster some enthusiasm I may make one to try.

John, do you (or will you) sell that LCB? I was going to contact you this week about an LCB seeing your super cheap price for the stainless one.

I'm running a 1380/296SC so need something a bit more than a standard bore one....

Car looks ace. absolutely love it.
