Getting excited now!

Did the work myself

Just got to pick up a thicker idler thrust washer Thursday and I'll bolt the gearbox to it at the weekend. And hopefully chuck it in the subframe!

The funny shapes cut out where the seat bolts too, are 3 different positions, straight, then rotated 1degree then moved back 10mm.

Thanks for all the comments chaps! Really keeps the motivation up!

Well spotted star mag! Lol

Engines in! Mocked up clearance between bulkhead, gunna have to rake the engine forward 10mm which will give me about an inch clearance which should be plenty right?

Think I have a winner for a cooler!! Side mount off a Nissan 200sx s14

Planning on having an intake and funnel from the bonnet and a outtake out the side of the wing so the air should flow through it nicely!!

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

Lasercut some brackets

Used a modified mini engine top hat for the mk1 golf radiator to sit in

Got a temperature switch for a fan that screws I to the rad nicely

Also bled the rts clutch and fuck me it's a heavy pedal.

I have a feeling I used the heaviest springs, 2.5mm each? How thick are the thinner ones as I'm gunna have to mod it

The RTS should get softer with some use. Give the pedal a good few presses whole its not running.

yeah my RTS was rediculus at first, in fact i thought somthing in the linkage would break, give it some use without the engine running and it should lighten up a fair bit.

if you still dont get on with it look at lengthening the clutch arm, I'm using the cable style arm (about 1/3 longer) and its really nice.
