I came to spectate last year as the car was bust and there was one car on the turbomini stand! Shows what this forums about! Go not Show!

I think most people on here just wanted the cheap tickets TBH. Sod the static stand!

Maybe I'm becoming a Cabrio.

I'm not going to be on the track so much...

Therefore, there should be at least one.

If I can get my arse up the strip at MITP, I'm sure you could to.

Nothin wrong with 'showing', each to their own, but I've got to admit it's much better if you're 'going' as I found out at Pod.

I'm up for this and a stand would be a good shout Tom. Ty for organising when the time comes.

Yes our cars do not really have built 1/4 driving!

Maybe one strip drive is acceptable.

But everyone must remember I have to drive back to Finland...

Mini In The Park 2010 will take place on Sunday 15th August at Santa Pod Raceway, and tickets are on sale now!

Last year’s show attracted a record crowd of more than 9,000 Mini enthusiasts, plus over 1,000 campers, and the line-up of Mini action and attractions looks just as impressive this year.

Once again there will be an opportunity to win the MITP Mini – last years winner, Kelly Richardson from Towcester, drove away the tasty MITP 1992 Mini Cooper from the show after buying a £2.50 ticket!

The arena action will include ‘Zero Gravity’, a freestyle trials bike team that incorporate a Mini into their incredible act, plus a very special guest yet to be announced. There are unconfirmed rumours that world-record stunt driver ‘Terry Grant’ is returning to the show to wow the crowds once more – stay tuned to the newsletter for more news.

The drag-strip will be buzzing with Mini Run-What-You-Brung action all day, plus the awesome ‘Fireforce’ Jet Car which is a highlight of many shows at Santa Pod.

Jaw-dropping displays of Mini clubs and concours cars, plus masses of Mini trade stands & autojumblers complete a line-up not to be missed for any Mini enthusiasts.

The theme to this year’s show is ‘Hollywood’, so expect to see some epic club stands and maybe some Hollywood icons too.

Im up for this. I think I was the only car on the stand as I just about managed to limp over my mini over to the show.

Im hoping to be on the strip for the majority of it though!

As we will not be taking the Miglia to Avon, this looks like a decent target.
