+ these have a greater range of motion that the standard Item, Paul. Thats the reason im giving them a try - hadnt really thought about bump steer too much,if theres any issues with them i can change back easy enough. Edited by rosco454 on 19th Oct, 2009. On 20th Jan, 2011 apbellamy said:

I used 1/2x1/2 rose joints with a spacer on my track rod ends. I spent about 5 hours setting it up, and making the spacers, it transformed the handling of my mini Team www.sheepspeed.com Racing

thats the jobby! I'm not sure if they are parallel with the lower arm to be honest. I just kept checking the tracking at min and max ride hights (with hilo removed) that I see, and tried different spacers under the rose joint untill the minimum amount of bump steer was present. Thanks miniminor63. Jim is the spacer just a left and right hand threaded jobbie that goes between the rack and the rose joint? The part between the rose joint and rack started as some hex bar, it's turned down to leave the hex in the middle only. (This is done to make tracking adjustemetns easy) It's then taped 1/2unf one side and LH 1/2 unf the other. There is then lock nuts either side, one of them is LH. Does that make sence? there no need to put left /right threads into that adapter, just put RH threads in and lock one end onto the rack end , all you then do is unlock the rod end /rotate adapterthe rod end wind in or out,,

Mine arrived today and they are going to need a spacer, saying that the setup on the car isnt exactly standard so they may fit better in that case.
