Shouldnt the piston dishes be offset forwards rather than back?

Paul

I seriously doubt it!

If you have gone to the effort of buying fancy pistons you might aswell fit them properly. Id take them out

Paul

I seriously doubt it!

+1
It would really bug me if I knew they were in the wrong way around

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Apart from the offset dish, what else is fancy about them ???

Do they have offset gudgeon pins for example ???

Is the forging biased one way for heat distribution as another example ???

It sounds like Minispeed don't know what they are talking about if they say they can go either way around, I would actually talk to the manufacturer before doing anything.

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???

Was it not Minispeed who were also selling JE pistons designed for the A series with 18mm pins and a crown hight 7mm lower than the deck hight?

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

If you look on the minispeed website, the picture shows the IASA etched into the fattest part of the squish band and is the other way round.

Is that bulkhead box welded in or sclicone'd in with self tappers?
Do you have "lambo" doors on yours aswell?

It does look that way, im not sure if the thoughts are different on weber boxes being less structural but i would still seam weld it.

The car looks really well done but those fuel lines are asking for trouble.
