in my experience the youthj of today are useless with tech stuff,

sure they can download the "cups" video onto their eye pod phones, but ask them to calcuate the gain of an amplifier and they look at you like your short green and drive a saucer...

Sorry, been away.

Here is the info below, there are two types on offer, the type with LED sweep and digital readout, and another with an analogue gauge readout. Obviously the free shipping offer is for the US of A, but I guess if you order a few you may be able to strike a deal.

I bought two AEM widebands from this guy whilst I was in the states earlier this year, he was quick to reply to emails and posting them to me c/o my girlfriends dad's address was no problem, I'd certainly have no worries about dealing with him again.

Email address is -chris@maperformance.com

I'd suggest you guys get your heads together, and then one of you email him rather than bombarding him with loads of emails.

AEM Analog Wideband Air / Fuel Gauge
On sale for $207.21 with free overnight shipping through 8/31!
AEM’s wideband air/fuel gauge unites unsurpassed accuracy, speed and control with an easy to read, analog interface. The AEM wideband also offers a 0-5v analog output for use with data loggers and virtually any engine management system, such as the AEM EMS or FIC.

AEM Gauge-Type Wideband UEGO Controller
On sale for $207.21 with free overnight shipping through 8/31!
A wideband UEGO sensor controller accurately monitors Air/Fuel ratios (AFR) during the tuning process to prevent a lean fuel mixture, which could lead to engine damage. AEM has combined its single-channel wideband UEGO controller and gauge display into one unit, uniting unsurpassed AFR accuracy and control with an easy-to-read interface. AEM’s Gauge-Type Wideband UEGO Controller features a digital LED display and sweeping LED “needle” that changes colors as AFR changes from rich to lean. The unit’s 52mm (2-1/16”) gauge housing fits in most gauge pods and can be remotely mounted virtually anywhere.

That's a bargain. Free international shipping as well.

Just bought three of these for $650 or about £420. Not the bargain they were but still good value.

I'm just hoping ParcelFarce don't sting me like they usually do if they get their hands on it.

If you bought them from maperformance he sends them via TNT and you get stung for tax. *frown*

I expect to have to pay the VAT.

It's ParcelFarce add-on charge that annoys me.

parcelfarce = BAC. Vat £10, 'handling' £18 or something equally rediculous.

They used to take my parcels to the local post office if I wan't in forst time. Now they try twice and charge me a pount for the privilege of going to get it myself.

Well, FedEx delivered these yesterday. Just six days from Minnesota to UK.

Nothing to pay, as yet, fingers crossed.

Do FedEx usually follow up with a bill for the VAT?

No bill for the VAT on the AEM gauges.

I bought some injectors from Fiveomotorsport on the same day, about £150. Just got the bill. £22.83 VAT and £13.50 ParcelFarce charge *angry*

£61.35 VAT
£10.75 Duty ??????
£6.80 Admin Fee.

Thats FedEx and for three gauges.

Still less than £500 for the three. Not too bad.

I'll claim the VAT back as it is a business expense :$

HMG add duty before the VAT dependant on what the item is. What pissed me off is that they add it to the total amount for the parts +shipping + insurance.. I was so pissed I called them as I couldn't understand how the payment was worked out.. under a certain amount and they don't charge.. hence why sometimes people put less than $50 on the import form..

TAX in this country is just taking the piss esp when you find out... nope I'm going to stop before I explode.

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

True, but you only get the analogue display at that price.
