doh, im a moron,
good on him for coming on here, but has james gone back?

tried James on numerous occasions today to give him his refund, i found this quite by accident through a link then found this problem only yesterday,at the time we offered James rectification of the job but as quite rightly on his part i upset him which i am truly sorry for but i will make sure he gets the refund.as for how it happened that is down to a mix up which i have now changed today. i was led to believe by my staff that it was finished and ready to go but the t card hadnt been signed which i should have checked. as for poor spelling well i have no excuse really but sorry for poor work on this occasion Andy from Acespeed

im shocked at getting a reply from acespeed on this, but im really happy that he has. theres no way i will be returning to acespeed on my own after the way i was spoken to, i think its a trick and he will be waiting there with a shotgun...

However, It sounds like it was a one off - and im glad they will be treating customers better in future and sorting out the way the check jobs off,

I took my car somewhere else who did a cracking job setting it up, and i happily paid £60 because i was really well looked after there.

ill get a friend to call round for my refund, and post on here if im sucessfull.

Reading this from acespeed has made me reconsider where to take my mini when its ready to be set up, i think i might take it to acespeed to be set up, he really does know what hes talking about hes very good at what he does, i think this was just a minor mistake, and im glad we have sorted this out...

Hi mini_andy, ive not ignored anything, theres just no way that i am going back there on my own to collect a refund... i really dont like confrontations.

Ive had the car set up elsewhere now i didnt think Acespeed would post on here, and i am gratefull for the refund, and glad that he has changed how he checks cars off so that it wont happen to anyone else.

If you don't want the refund, why not have it sent to the TM server fund??? Just a thought.... :)

He accepted responsibility and apologised. I think you should go and pick up the refund yourself. If uncomfortable, take a friend with you. It would be the proper thing to do. :)

stop being a fooking jessy, you were quick enough to slate the place then when they apologise and offer a refund you're too scared to go fetch it, lol.

james no need to feel uncomfortable at all i will happily give you a refund no hassle at all and prepared to shake hands with an apology if you are up for that. i will happily set your mini up personally myself free of charge if you are happy to do that. sorry for delayed reply been busy doing Goodwood revival and busy catching up cheers Andy

Its good see these problems being sorted properly, otherwise it can turn and you end up with a company with a bad rep due to one mistake. So fair play to you at acespeed!

On a completely different note, the acespeed mini van at goodwood looked awesome!

I think this has run its course now.

It is now up to the O/P and Acespeed to sort it out between themselves.
