Are they up to the job though?

I seriously doubt it!

Imp pistons do work, but they will also need the block to be skimmed by quite a lot.

Several options here:

http://www.hillmanimpspecialists.com/pricelist2.htm

The proper thing would be to get these:

http://www.swiftune.com/Product/459/1098-omega-flat-top.aspx

Available in .060.

Good point, but it'll only be lowish boost, but depends what head I use. If its the 295 I have it should be fine, not sure about 940 though

I seriously doubt it!

I guess there is room to machine a dish in those. Anyway it's very easy to find out *wink*

110 crank + flat pistons + 295 untouched head = bad idea ?

Too high a CR ?

I don't think this is that bad from the top of my mind. I skimmed my 295 a bit on my 1132Turbo build, but I'm running lowish boost.

When we talk IMP pistons, do we discuss 68, 70 or 72,5 ones ??
72,5 sounds quite a large piston for a SBU !

Do 1275 pistons fit a 998 engine?
