take the cylinder off and put it in a vice and gently heat the nipple ,or just put a new one on ? Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM |

But they are Minispares ones so maybe not the original design ? Well, they are paid for already and in the chunnel as we speak so it's just a matter of waiting for them ... Nipple : I was thinking of using a self locking grip and replace with a new nipple as a start ... A maybe a hitting screw driver ? (what's the proper name in english by the way ?) Rusty by nature

If you mean the type with a spiral drive that you thump on the back with a club hammer, they are usually called impact drivers (or impact screwdrivers). Whatever you use, I can see the bleed nipple shearing off leaving the threaded bit in the hole..... Been there, done that and they are so small they are hard to drill out without damaging the threads. Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ??? |

I have a similar situation where i have about 40mins free between taking the dog out and the wife coming in from work. In some ways it is better as any annoying jobs you can do in small chunks, and just come back the next day if you get knarked |

But by slicing in 40 minutes part, you wash hands a dozen times more for a given job, you are much more looking for the tools and so on ...

Ok I didn't manage to take the nipple out so a change of cylinder is on the cards.

DOT 5.1 Glycol is a safer bet with seals and pretty much equal in performace to Silicone DOT 5

At least that is what I red ... What he said! See if you can find any brake manufacturer who recommends silicone fluid! Geoff |

As for arches , WP style wider ones, they will not allow to lower the car more than standart ones so I'm gonna have to sell those and source a set that would be appropriate ... Rusty by nature

I found that using the latex mechanics glooves is a good time saver in the hand washing department, especially if you are doing the real dirty jobs like pot joints and cv's. I do go through about 4 pairs an hour tho !! I just bought a big box for the garage I used to where those under special mechanic gloves, the ones with blue dots that allow a lot of grip On 5th Apr, 2010 Brocky said:
