Finally got all the welding done on the other cars and got the Miglia on the ramp.

First job is to check all the brakes, suspension etc.

They're Dunlop Wets on there at the moment. They are going to be swapped for some A032Rs.

Paul, you're not allowed to start on this one yet, you know the rules, no touching the car until a week before Avon, then it's a mad rush.

Well, we have a huge pile of parts ready to fit, but cannot agree on whether to concentrate on getting it road legal with a standard engine, then fit the turbo etc, or fit the turbo engine and trailer it.

It will definately be road legal at some point, but we may just run it as a trailered race car this year.

I can also back Scruffy up, it's a stunning car, but it's not going to be nice on the road. My car was built just after Endaf's miglia, and are very simular apart from the pedal box. Get it road legal for class D, but I don't think you'll enjoy driving it on the road.

That's the only reason really, but also because the injection setup is going to need some road miles to perfect.

Stunning car, looking forward to seeing it being used again. It's been sat around for far to long now.

I think for this year we should get used to having a "reasonably" powered turbo mini as neither of us have any idea what its going to be like, then work on getting it road legal for next summer and then turn up the boost :)

Sorted the front suspension today.

Modified the already modified HiLos by machining them down and fitted a locknut. The HiLos are the original type, but were not fitted with any grub screws or locknuts to secure them at a fixed height. Also fitted new knuckles.

Fitted standard top shock mounts. It has very short shocks and the modified top bracket meant very little suspension movement.

Fitted bump stops to keep MOT man happy.

This should give a little more suspension movement allowing us to run it a little higher on the road.

Just measured it with sturgeo's iPhone and it is currently set at 9.5 degrees *surprised*

We'll get the Scruffmeister to wind that down a bit and trim the bump stops when we get the suspension setup.

Was wondering if the steering arms had been tweaked for bump steer but caster is it! The steering rack boot looks a little ill?
