Paul, you're not allowed to start on this one yet, you know the rules, no touching the car until a week before Avon, then it's a mad rush. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:

Well, we have a huge pile of parts ready to fit, but cannot agree on whether to concentrate on getting it road legal with a standard engine, then fit the turbo etc, or fit the turbo engine and trailer it. It will definately be road legal at some point, but we may just run it as a trailered race car this year. Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."

I can also back Scruffy up, it's a stunning car, but it's not going to be nice on the road. My car was built just after Endaf's miglia, and are very simular apart from the pedal box. Get it road legal for class D, but I don't think you'll enjoy driving it on the road. Team www.sheepspeed.com Racing

Get it road legal for class D That's the only reason really, but also because the injection setup is going to need some road miles to perfect. Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."

I think for this year we should get used to having a "reasonably" powered turbo mini as neither of us have any idea what its going to be like, then work on getting it road legal for next summer and then turn up the boost :) |

Just measured it with sturgeo's iPhone and it is currently set at 9.5 degrees We'll get the Scruffmeister to wind that down a bit and trim the bump stops when we get the suspension setup.
