I'll be with a long haired blonde girl who looks far too excited and bounces around a lot (my missus in other words) - she always gets giddy at Mini shows!

We got there at around 10:30 and went straight in. Queued in the road for about 10 minutes though.

Got a few bargains and came back home. Good job, cause it cost me nearly £50 for the three of us to get in and feed.

Spoke to Rob H and John K. Saw Bat, T2, Nick wandering about.

you cant have been far behind me then Paul. i also walked straight in but sat on the road for a while.

saved myself about £100 on ordering the panels i needed from minispares and also picked up some alluminium door skins.

two proper sills, scuttle panel, closing panels for the scuttle and two alluminium door skins cost be £140

not half bad!!

i was pretty annoyed that, out of all the people doing panels there none of them had complete inner wings! thats the only thing i need now before i can crack on and get the metal work on the body sorted and ready for the cage!

going to be scouting out the cheapest online now!

oh, and its a good job the SC stand was constantly busy otherwise they would have had to look at that awefull thing across from them!!

as i walked past the ower of that company said to someone standing there "i can tell you want to buy all of it dont you!" his reply made me chuckle for a long time!! "sorry mate, no, it looks awefull" and then walked off!! *happy*

didnt see the mini 50 somehow?!

watched the minifilms DVD for a while, that looks goood!! you can really see jims carbon doors flapping at one point in the vid! makes me glad i decided against them for a road car now! but god does it look good going around the track!

oh and i confirmed my hatred for the people that continually polish their cars through-out shows! give it a rest! drive the furking thing!

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

I had a good wander round, but didn't see anybody. Most of the time I was looking down at my boy getting in the way of everybody.

All I managed to buy was lunch and a T shirt for the boy and his sister.

I've got to say the burger van was shockingly bad, to the point that I only managed to eat one rat burger and that was a challenge.

The hot pork roll was OK. Except I'm not supposed to eat pork - paying for it right now !

went had a quick look around came home. it was a bit to busy for my liking and the shit that people are trying to flog in the auto jumble always amazes me lol.

on the way home found out that me petrol tank has about a 150ish mile range in it the hard way lol. lucky i had a gallon in the can in the boot. didnt see anybody i knew. to be honest probably wont go to any more static shows as i get really bored looking at the minis nowadays lol

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Almost new *happy*

those holes have been countersunk. Mabe its a Mk2 though I though the latest ones were Mk2, but I could be mistaken they could be Mk3 *hehe!*

Still, for £5 it can sit on the shelf for about 5 years while I think about what to do with it *laughing*

forgot to ask.. anyone see that extreamly close 'almost' crash with that saxo or pug (or whatever lol didnt realy look) some boyracer hammering it past the entrance as i was leaving, i was turning right the 2 cars that turned left pulled out and stopped with the hazzards on the last car pulled round the first and stopped infront of it then this chav car came flying over the hill from the right about 100leptons easy about 100 metres from the parked car on my left he must have only just clocked, him slammed the brakes on and skidded right past me, me and the dad was absolutely amazed this guy bounced up the curb onto the grass slid back down onto the road and stopped within afew inches of the parked car (newish volvo) the chav then banging on the horn slammed it into gear and burnt off around the volvo, if the second car hadnot have pulled into the front there would have been a lovely smash he 3 stewards just stood and looked on in amazement lol

Yes i moved to the darkside *happy*
