i used a small blow torch, just the canister ones with screw on bottle.

Maybe I was just impatient, I had the small oxy torch to hand so went right to it, try the gas It wont do any harm.. and the grille sounds fine for this stuff..

i havent got any oxy stuff *smiley*

it worked just fine, as tel said, maybe a little longer to get it warm but it didnt take long at all.

How strong is this stuff?

Could it be used to fill a hole in a gearbox and then get drilled and tapped?
