Please see thread about heel and toeing Jimbo or you'll be doing a gearbox rebuild soon! One step at a time mate! I can manage it in my road car, but there was just too much going on in a car I'm not use to driving for that. I think the weaving all over the place was a combination of torque steer and a bumpy track, I think a smoother track and it should be managable. Team www.sheepspeed.com Racing

Rob, engine will rev nicely passed 8k, but with all the torque low down, there is no need to rev the bollox off it. Edited by Jimster on 21st Oct, 2008. Team www.sheepspeed.com Racing

My Mum taught me to drive and being used to Minis herself included heel and toeing back in 1985 and have used it ever since apart from current co car as auto! lol On 5th Sep, 2011 Vegard said:

set your idle at 200 rpm, you'll have to heal and toe to keep the thing running whilst doing gear changes, lol,

Looks good Jim. We have driven Llandow a couple of times in the TT and we used the extra bit round the tower instead of the tyres. I have to say that less power and more grip, in the TT, makes it much easier to drive then it looks in your car.

Ben, what times did you get around Llandow on the full track? (with bus stop chicane). If my car is anyway near your speed I'll be a happy man.

It was a couple of years ago that we went and it was a sprint event so our time will mean nothing to you. Basically we started just out of the pits and into the complex, then 2 laps and off at the pit entry. I think it was around 90 or 95 seconds, but I could be wrong. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk
