i really like that, looks very cool!

Dave Kimberly sells a f/g rear tailgat for the pick ups, might be worth having a word with him if you would fancy a replacement to the standard / net.

http://www.tdkracing.com/

listed on his site for £85

i had seen those, but i reckon they cause a shit load of drag.?
so thats why i wanted a net,

ive just been having a few thoughts about moving the engine and subby into the rear,
i know this defeats the point in having a truck but i like the idea.....
just a thought....lol

I take it you dont watch MythBusters?

They did a test for economy on a pick-up with the tailgate up and down. Up gave better economy.

It creates a bubble of air in the load bed and then the moving air passes over the top of the bubble giving more streamlined flow.

Im not sure if this applies to all pick-ups / loadbeds but it was super interesting none the less!

Probably on youtube some where. Im off searching again!

need some help,

ok, the brakes seem to be sticking after driving around for a while,
the pedal is hard and the car barely moves as they are locked on so tight,so i either have to leave it for a while or 'release' a little amount of fluid ffom the calipers,

someone said it could have been the hoses breaking down and therefore not allowing fluid back up the hose when i take my foot of the pedal, which mad sense so i fitted my 7.5's from my other car which have never had a problem,

the only thing i did notice is that i cant seem to see the rear brake compensator thing, its not in on the bulkhead like my other car,
and its not under the rear subby either...
could that be the cause of my woes?
cheers guys

collapsed hoses are a good reason for your problems. as for the compensator, have you traced the brake lines to the back of the car? either its hidden or not installed at all??

is it just when they get abit hot after use when this happens? if it is you might want to change your brake fluid as it could now have too much water in it. brake fluid loves to absorb moisture from the air.

is it meant to have a compensator? its not too old for one is it? if it isnt then i would fit one as even if it is not the cause of the problems you will benifit from having one in the system. (prepairing to be wrong)

good call James - could the brakes be binding and overheating as a result?
