mini lumps are made to started on the deck, thats what the flat bottoms for! lol

Imp lumps tend to whip about a bit though as theyre so light.

Mad Matt is sthe champion for the pikey engine starting on the garage floor, what with huge sparks from the starter right next to a open jerry can full of unleaded and a squirt or two of easy start to get it going.

I first thought that the engine was actualy sat on a few lumps of wood without a sump, from the first video, LOL

What I want to know is if this will be in the car and mapped by Avon!!!

its running on propane colin , so no mapping needed ,lol , oh apart from spark .
the story of this project , its actually project 25 , started ,when i was at my local garage ,and spotted a fiat 8 valve head gasket that my mate martin was changing . i run upstars to his stores and got a 1275 mini gasket ,and plonked it on top of the fiat one ,and jubilation ensued , pretty much identical , so i said offhand ,be good if they did a 16v version of this engine.... martin went onto auto dat and said THEY DO!!!!!
hot damn ....
so then about a month later at my magic scrapyard , i came across a punto 85 ,and off with its head ,which was a bit of a trial cos it was on a heap of cars at the time ,and ,at one point the bonnet slammed and my hand was rsting on the slam panel , v close escape ,lol. , so thats how it all began really .
sturgeo well done for spotting that from such a small amount of view on the video , you need to get out more lol.

easier that a K conversion?

there must be less pissing around with the belt setup, i assume the waterways and head studs are similar?

is it easy to mess with the cam timing/ LCA with the one pully?

when i had the head off a cinq last year i thought it might fit, but never got round to measuring it up.

I thoght that looked like a propane reg on the chair!
