This is a great looking car.I didn't realise before that it was a steel tub with a fibreglass skin. How much does it weigh? 'Where does the engine go?' |

It won't be at Avon or MITP this year, still LOADS to do on it. There is still the engine, bodywork, wiring loom (it doesn't have one at the moment),interior and to finish off the brakes and cooling.

But if anyone wants to see a GTM in the flesh Some other will be there. including myself.
Got A GTM With A Honda In the Back, and huge Nitrous bottle where the passenger seat should be when racing!

Managed to drop the engine in this afternoon. With the redesign of the rear frame, I was able to drop the whole lump in, in one go.

It will have to be a charge cooler when one is fitted. Just planning on getting it on the road first. Then the quest for power can begin. So, I'll see if I can fit one in the boot somewhere and try and squeeze some more coolant pipes down the central tunnel.

I've had a very good weekend on the car this weekend. Managed to get all the little jobs on the engine done and have had a trial fit of the bodywork. I've nearly finished modifying the handbrake cables, just need to solder the ends back on.

That is looking very impressive. I love the ETB dash too It works wonders with fitting everything on the dash. The dash on the Coupe always struggles for space, but this gives you speedo, revs, fuel, oil pressure and temp, water temp, fuel gauge and the lights for things like main beam. Tim Rowe

Bodywork is starting to take shape now. I've almost finished the front of the car, just a couple of pipes and the hinge for the bonnet to sort. I've got the side indicators mounted and all the electrics on the front have now been done. Just the little job of wiring everything under the dashboard.
